I love the idea of detoxing. It makes me feel very Gwyneth Paltrow, even if just for a few minutes.
I found this recipe somewhere (can't remember, so soz) and started drinking it in the mornings to try to hack my way around what would end up being a bum gallbladder. It not only didn't work but actually made me feel terrible more often than not, because of said gallbladder. But now that my very scarred gallbladder is gone (perhaps the silver lining of my 2017?), I can go back to including this in my morning routine.
It's zesty and tart and delicious - the perfect way to start the morning. It's everything that comes after that I still need to figure out... #WWGD
Combine the juice of one lemon, 1 teaspoon of raw honey, a pinch each of cayenne, ground ginger, ground cloves and one cup of hot water. Garnish with a slice of lemon if you're feeling fancy.
