As much as we love all things tech there is nothing like putting pen to paper...Moleskin's notebooks have been a cult classic for some time now and its charms have not escaped NWS HQ...we might even have to join Notebooks Anonymous...



But with the addition of pencils, Kindle/iPad covers and bags our obsession now goes well beyond notebooks...


What's even cooler are the reading glasses...you CAN'T put them on upside down as they are totally symmetrical and the slim, unisex design is oh so chic in either black or transparent!

Sometimes you just need to zone out for a few minutes...these websites can help:

Pop Bubble Wrap - a classic, now digitized!

Dear blank, please blank - honestly, one of the best ways to blow off steam without the confrontation...also, super fun to read through other posts (although some are a tad contrived).

Future Me - we've emailed ourselves a description of one of our favorite ensembles du jour for one year, five years and ten years - will be interesting to see how long it takes for us to think said outfit is cool again...?

Totally Looks Like - our fave is the Donatella Versace/Janice the Muppet comparison...spot on!!!

Paula Deen Riding Things - just completely ridic...but the image of Paula riding Gob Bluth like a horse on his Segway made us laugh out loud!

* Apple TV - the device we never knew we needed...amazing

* eos lip balm - of the Sweet Mint variety, thank you!

* monogrammed sleep shirt - a lightweight yet cozy menswear inspired nightie...zzzzz

* any and all Ray-Ban sunnies

* the Twitter necklace by Survival of the Hippest - it's dope!

* CoverGirl Lash Blast Length - the yellow tube is a cinch to spot in an overcrowded makeup case and the formula does what the commercials claim...tip: take your time with the brush and really load on the coats

* circle scarves - certainly makes bundling up in this brutal weather a bit more stylish...really digging the lightweight knits from echo, available at Lord & Taylor or online...and more than likely on sale at this point (read: stock up for next year as we don't see this trend fading)

* Kerastase Elixir Ultime - nourishing hair oil that conditions, tames frizz and makes strands shimmer... the price might be a bit of a turnoff BUT just a half a pump is really all you need...
