thanks a latte...

I just recently decided shelling out gobbs of money on my iced lattes is a bit ridiculous.  I'm still a huge fan of overpriced coffee (who isn't) but sometimes I'd just like to make my own.  Thus, I bought a Bialetti espresso percolator from Cooking.com and the results have been fantastic!  My simple how-to below:

Start with a whole bean espresso roast for maximum flavor...
Coarsely grind your beans...
Fill bottom reservoir with cold, filtered water...

Add the funnel piece and loosely fill with ground coffee...
Screw on the top pot and place onto burner on high heat...

The hot water is drawn up through the beans into the pot...

Pour over ice, add milk (and sugar if you're a candy ass) and voila: a homemade iced latte!
